Our client, an international textile group with several recognized ready-to-wear brands, is growing rapidly.

As part of its development, our client creates the position of:

Fabric Sourcer H/F

Under the supervision of the group buying office director, you act as a true fabric expert.

You will provide technical expertise, acquired during your studies and your work experience. You will act as a counsel for the brand buying teams, in charge of identifying and evaluating suppliers of raw materials (fabrics, knits and accessories). Your role will extend to offering better service, quality and pricing and optimizing lead times. You will negociate directly with the fabric suppliers.
You have to set up a competitive fabric supplier network by creating and maintaining a panel to be shared by all.

Your strong technical skills will help you be legitimate among buyers and brand managers.

Profil recherché

You have a strong educational background specialized in textiles, along with a first experience in the field.

You may have worked in the fabric industry as a production manager or a buyer. You master all the stages to making a fabric, from the yarn up to the finishing treatments.

Open minded and curious, you are willing to travel and support international teams of buyers and brand managers.
